About Us

News Noir is an online television station that capitalizes on the technological growth of the internet, wireless phones, i-Pods, DVDs and downloadable programming on high speed internet connections featuring entertaining shows that poke fun at ourselves: News Noir - a free-wheeling satirical news show with a cast of interviewers, correspondents and actors and two soap operas: For the Love of Basketball and Harlem 10027.

Bios and pictures of the actors can be found here.

News Noir will add other segments that highlight culture, entertainment, health, education and a host of other topics that inform and entertain our black community. We'll solicit stories from viewers in the United States and around the world by having them send slide shows, narration and written copy from their locale, opening up the possibilities of providing news from anyone, anywhere created by people with a digital camera and a computer. The News Noir editorial board will select material of interest to our viewers and present it in our "NEWS FROM OUR VIEWERS" segment. Imagine having correspondents around the globe presenting material of interest to our viewers!

The show is produced at the drumTV studio in Harlem and is a no-holds-barred comedy that spoofs everybody and everything related to black people in America and the world. News Noir was created by Dick Martin, writer Arnold Pinnix and a team of first rate producers, writers, technicians and actors.

News Noir will capture a multi-ethnic audience of millions of viewers which will position it as a leading provider of programming on the internet for black audiences. We will create a niche market for advertisers who want to reach this demographic.

News Noir is seeking sponsors and partners that will increase our growth in this potentially huge market. Interested parties who wish to "get in on the ground floor" should e-mail media@newsnoir.com or call Dick Martin - (212) 531-3786.
